Writers: Literary Lives in Focus (Contrasto, 2014, Goffredo Fofi, Editor) is the new English-language edition of Scrittori: Grandi Autori visti da Grandi Fotografi (Writers: Great Authors as seen by Great Photographers). The monograph is an anthology of 250 photographs of writers such as Beckett, Camus, Duras, Hesse, Joyce, Kerouac, Nabokov, and Woolf made by the likes of Cartier-Bresson, Doisneau, Halsman, Karsh, Man Ray, Picasso, Salgado - and Beowulf Sheehan.
