BAM:  The Complete Works (Quantuck Lane Press, 2011) is the bound celebration of the Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM)'s sesquicentennial.  For  over 150 years, BAM - the United States' oldest performing arts center and the country's premiere home to the avant garde in dance, film, music, and theater - has enthralled and inspired its visitors and artists with works of artistic and cultural impact well-beyond its walls.  With more than 300 photographs over almost 400 pages, BAM:  The Complete Works is a testament to the pursuit and achievement of artistic excellence through the challenges of time.  Among the artists of screen, sound, and stage profiled in the book are Enrico Caruso, Isadora Duncan, Martha Graham, Merce Cuningham, Phlip Glass, Laurie Anderson, Robert Wilson, Pina Bausch, Ingmar Bergman, and William Christie.

Beowulf Sheehan began working with BAM in late 2009.  He is honored to have a few photographs included in this treasure of a tome.  (To see examples of Beowulf's work for BAM, click here.)
